The Bachelor of Social Science (Hons.) Of Economics Is A Four-Year Undergraduate Program. In The Changing World Of Globalization, Economics Is Powerful Tools For Understanding The Forces Which Help Us To Integrate The Market Economy At National And International Levels.


The Study Of Economics Now Extends Its Scope For Beyond The Traditional Boundary To The Study Of Financial Institutions, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Computer Technology, Management, Marketing And Their Relevance To The Privatization Ideology. Formal Training In Economics At Undergraduate And Graduate At Dhaka International University Is Based On The Academic Belief That The Time And Money Invested In The Study Offers A Challenge For The Young Minds To Face The Changing Economic Reality In The Near Future.


This Program Is Offered With Forty Core Courses Which Extends Over Eight Semesters. A Student Who Would Like To Study For The B.S.S. (Hons.) In Economics Degree Must Complete 126 Credits Of Course Work Depending On The Field Of Core Courses, Thesis And Viva-Voce. If A Student Would Like To Study For The M.S.S. Degree In Economics Must Complete 36 Credits On The Field Of Core Courses (30 Credits), Thesis And Viva-Voce (6 Credits).
